School's out for ever....

So school is officially over. It's been a crazy 4 years for me. When I first started I never really thought I'd get as far as I did, or do as much as had done. There were loads of ups and downs throughout and at times it seemed like I wasn't gonna be doing much at the end of it all.

but yeah, enough of that,

So I lucked out and landed myself a job at CORE digital pictures , animating for the summer. It's gonna be a lot of work but I'll be alongside friends so it'll be awesome. I can't wait to see how the final film turns out. It's got some really interesting characters that are gonna challenge us and make us think long and hard about how it'll all work. You guys are gonna love it.

So i've been hooked into Vice magazines online documentaries. I found a copy of the Vice Guide to travel and since then I've probably watched everyone of their films two or three times. anyways check it out there's a really scary short doc about how they were able to buy a nuclear warhead on the black market. it's crazy how none of this is news worthy? There's a really killer series on North Korea and another one about the Oil sands in alberta. they're all interesting and I can't stop sing the sites praises!

anyways to end it all off here's some sketchbook stuff I've done lately. sorry for the piss poor quality, I have no scanner at the moment.

So I've been busy.....

like really busy...

last time I updated this site was over a year ago and I've had a lot of things happened. some personal crap happened which sucks but it's life. I've had some health issues lately but nothing serious other than a bad sinus infection that took me out of commission for a couple of days.

so what the hell have I been up too...

well...

my band broke up....

then just last week we got back together....

I worked for the NFB doing some animation

I moved back to burlington.

I went to romania for a month, that was cool.

almost finished college now.

hmmm.... i'm sure there's more but I just can't recall it.

I'm gonna refocus this blog now, there'll be two sections to it. one will be a portfolio based area for my professional development and the other will be my personal section, i wanna actually blog about stuff. like actually talk about things i like and the such. i mean i don't really care if you have a differing opinion or heck if anyone actually reads it, I just wanna write about crap. write top tens, give my reviews on things. be nerdy like that so I will. my next posts will have the sort of flavour to it from now on. plus I'll upload some artwork here and there and maybe update the look of the site.

So I just I log on to check my stats one day to find that I'm getting about 100 views a day which is cool, upon closer inspection I notice that most of them are google searches for Erin Esurance. linking them to that fanart i did a while back, any who here's some new art. some of them are skeleton studies some are cafe skecthes with brush pen and some are felt tip line life drawings.
